Welcome from Terry!
Greetings, I'm Terry - thanks for stopping by!

I'm a radio presenter, mobile DJ and voiceover artist from Cambridgeshire, England... but you probably already knew that!

I currently present a weekly three hour music and chat programme on a Saturday afternoon from 2pm on Embrace Radio.
About Me
What you might not know is that I'm actually severely sight impaired, and have been since birth.

Thanks to my very good friends and radio colleagues Nick Galway and Ryan McGuckin, I've recently started collecting licensed vinyl figurines and bobbleheads that are manufactured by the American company called Funko Inc, after I was kindly bought the Missy and the Thirteenth Doctor figures from the Doctor Who series of Pop Vinyl figures for Christmas in December 2018.

I got very excited when I recently had the opportunity of purchasing a piece of my childhood in the form of a Super Bar X Deluxe fruit machine (manufactured by Electrocoin) from an amusement arcade in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

I once met the British politician (Sir John Major) who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party from 1990 to 1997.

My Vision
What you might not know is that I'm actually severely sight impaired and have been since birth.

All of this usually begs the question, so what can you actually see?

Well, it's difficult to say exactly as I've never had 'normal' vision to compare it to. However, when looking at an eye chart, I can barely read the top letter these days. In everyday life, it all depends on lighting conditions and the size, shape, colour and distance of an object. It's also particularly difficult using a mobile phone, personal computer, laptop or tablet, and watching television as I have to be so close to all of these devices.

That's why I'm proud to support the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, The Huntingdonshire Society for the Blind, and the Royal National Institute of Blind People charitable organisations. I also support the National Autistic Society as I have close connections via family and loved ones.

Education and Work
I attended Hinchingbrooke School in Huntingdon, studying GCSE English, French, Graphic Products, Mathermatics, Music and Science. After leaving school, I spent a brief spell as a Sales Assistant at the convenience store retailer, One Stop in Godmanchester. I then studied Radio Broadcasting and Production at a BTEC Advanced National Diploma level at the RNIB College in Redhill, Surrey.

The Geek
It would be fair to say that most of my friends call me an 'anorak' when it comes to television themes. I have collected them from a variety of channels across the world for many years. However, I like to see it as appreciating the true musical score from the likes of Dave Hewson, David Lowe, David Mindel, Marc Sylvan, Matthew Strachan, Murry Gold and Paul Farrer. Names you may not know, but their music, you most definitely will.

Since it's return to our screens back in 2005, I've been obsessed with the British science-fiction programme produced by the BBC called Doctor Who. I've collected every single DVD ever released and I'm attempting to do the same with the audio adventures, including the various spin offs like Class, K9, The Sarah-Jane Adventures and Torchwood. It doesn't stop there though, as I'm often found in a local charity shop or on an online auction website looking for rare annuals, books, clothes, coins, figures, games, playsets, stamps and toys.
